Zelenskyy also said he had fired the top officials because many cases had come to light of members of their agencies collaborating with Russia, according to Al Jazeera.

“Such a great number of crimes against the foundations of national security and the connections established between Ukrainian law enforcement officials and Russian special services pose very serious questions to the relevant leaders,” Zelensky said.
“Each such question will be answered.”

Venediktova had led Ukraine’s investigation into alleged atrocities committed by invading Russian forces in the town of Bucha outside Kyiv, which caused international outrage.
Earlier, Zelenskyy had dismissed Kyiv’s ambassador to India as well as several other foreign envoys on Saturday.
He announced the sacking of Ukraine’s ambassadors to Germany, the Czech Republic, Norway, India, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, The Kyiv Independent reported.
