Attorney General Merrick Garland addressed concerns that he would put political considerations ahead of pursuing a case against Donald Trump, calling the DOJ investigation of Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election “the most wide-ranging investigation, and the most important investigation that the Justice Department has ever entered into.”
