UN Rights Office publishes Xinjiang Report, says allegations of torture ‘credible’

The UN body said that allegations of patterns of torture and forced medical treatment in Xinjiang were credible. It also insisted that the situation required “urgent” international attention, reported AFP.

The UN rights office said, “Allegations of patterns of torture or ill-treatment, including forced medical treatment and adverse conditions of detention, are credible.”
