As per Veselovskiy, around there were already around 500 tech companies in Lviv before the Russian invasion. After Russia invaded Ukraine, reportedly 80 percent of the sector is in the western city. One of the IT companies is Infopulse. It provides various digital services mostly to European customers. According to the AFP report, around 300 employees of Infopulse are working from Lviv. The company has offices in one of the few buildings in the city which have a bunker.
Bunk beds, stable internet connection and generators are provided underground so employees continue to work even where there are air raids. As per the media report, since the Russian Invasion, Infopulse has gained four new customers and last month it created 25 new jobs in the war-torn country. Apart from Infopulse, there are other IT companies which are still working in Ukraine.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 this year. Till now over 13 million people have been displaced from their homes due to the Russian aggression. Out of the total people displaced, over six million Ukrainians have fled their country.
