A person has been struck by a GO train near the Unionville station in Markham, police say.
York Regional Police say they received reports a female had been struck by a GO train just before 1 p.m.
Limited details are available at this time, they said, and injuries are unknown, but appear to be life-threatening.

Emergency workers are onsite, according to a tweet issued by an account operated by Metrolinx, and trains will be halted for approximately two hours.
