New Delhi: Pakistan‘s former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and popular TV host, Aamir Liaquat Hussain, passed away on Thursday in Karachi under mysterious circumstances. He was 49 years old.
Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s third wife, Dania Shah, commented on the untimely death of the TV host. On Instagram, Dania Shah wrote: “May Allah forgive Aamir and grant his soul the highest place in Jannah. Ameen”

Javed, an employee of Hussain, reported hearing a scream from the TV host’s room on Thursday morning. He said the room was locked from the inside. Hussain’s domestic staff broke down the room’s door when there was no reply from the other end.

He was pronounced dead by doctors after being taken to the hospital.

This may be recalled that Hussain announced his third marriage to 18-year-old Dania Shah in February. However, a video released by Shah in May revealed that she had filed for divorce from Hussain. Last month, Hussain expressed regret over the viral ‘indecent’ videos leaked by Dania Shah.

“These people are paying heed to a 14-15-year-old,” said Hussain in the video and also recited verses from the Holy Quran. “Anyone who consumes alcohol cannot recite these verses. Everyone has buried my reputation in the mud over a girl whose interviews should not have taken in the first place. She filed for divorce and I was complying with it. All these new YouTubers and so-called journalists who have come forward [to give coverage to Dania] have done great injustice to Pakistan.”

With tears in his eyes, Hussain added, “I have no choice but to leave the country after this fiasco.”The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader was found unconscious at his home in Khudadad Colony and rushed to a private hospital in critical condition. Geo TV reported that the televangelist complained of discomfort on Wednesday night, but refused to go to the hospital.
