London: Khalistan supporters on Monday staged a protest outside the Indian High Commission in the United Kingdom’s capital London. A large number of British security personnel were deployed outside the High Commission.
The protesters were restricted to the opposite side of the High Commission. The video of the protest by Khalistani supporters also surfaced online.

Last week, India’s High Commissioner to the UK Vikram Dorwaiswami was stopped from entering a Gurdwara in Scotland’s Glasgow by three men. India’s High Commission to the United Kingdom on Saturday termed the incident as “disgraceful”. One of the non-local extremist elements attempted to violently force open the High Commissioner’s car door.
The incident took place amid a diplomatic faceoff between India and Canada over Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s killing.
In the past several incidents of attacks on Indian diplomatic missions in countries like the UK, the US and Canada took place. n March this year, India’s High Commission in London was also attacked by Khalistani extremists.
